“INTERWOVEN CIRCLES: A CYCLE OF WORKS” — NEW 3-D WORKS BY LISA MOORE at SEA BREEZE ART GALLERY
Local artist exhibits works in wire related to geometry and quantum physics
VENTURA, CA (April 18, 2008) – New works by local artist LISA MOORE will be on exhibit at the Sea Breeze Art Gallery from May 22 through June 28, 2008.
Moore’s current work re-interprets needlework methods into wire and other alternative materials.
The public is invited to attend a reception for the artist on Saturday, May 24, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Sea Breeze Art Gallery, 255 So. Laurel Street, Ventura, CA. There is no cost to attend.

About LISA MOORE: A California native, Lisa has exhibited all over California for nearly 30 years. She grew up during a resurgence of interest in the art of hand craftwork juxtaposed with the development of space age materials and technologies. Lisa currently works with mixed media, including wire and glass. She earned her B.A. in the Theatre Arts, with an emphasis in set construction and costuming, and A.A. in Art, delving into Ceramics, Assemblage, Bronze Casting. Lisa tutored other young artists in printmaking for more than seven years and is self-taught in computer graphics. One of her great passions is with hand bookbinding and Artists’ Books.
